Wat duurzaamheid betekent bij Powertex en Ropetex
- Innovatieve r-PET producten: Een aantal geselecteerde artikelen in ons assortiment worden gemaakt van gerecycled polyester, wat helpt om het gebruik van nieuwe grondstoffen en de daarmee gepaard gaande CO2-uitstoot te verminderen.
- Ethische inkoop & duurzame productie: We werken eraan onze supply chain af te stemmen op de principes uit onze Gedragscode voor Leveranciers, waarbij eerlijke en verantwoorde praktijken centraal staan.
- Afvalreductie: We streven naar het minimaliseren van afval door digitale handleidingen, geoptimaliseerde verpakkingen en continue efficiëntieverbeteringen.
- Toegewijde duurzame acties: Onze gestructureerde aanpak omvat regelmatige audits op locatie en samenwerking met leveranciers om te zorgen dat aan onze nalevingsnormen wordt voldaan.

r-PET webbing slings, round slings & web lashings
In 2023, we launched our innovative range of webbing slings, round slings, and web lashings made entirely from recycled polyester (r-PET). These products have a reduced CO2e footprint of up to 65%.
Fall protection harness made from r-PET
Our Powertex HW fall protection harnesses are made from recycled polyester, which reduces CO2 impact.
Bio-degradable steel wire rope lubricant
Our Ropetex Ultra Lube 2 is an 'Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant', specially developed to minimize environmental impact in environments where steel wire ropes come into contact with water.

Supplier Code of Conduct compliance audits
As part of our sustainability efforts, we carry out regular audits to assess compliance with our Supplier Code of Conduct, focusing on both environmental and social aspects. These audits include document reviews, in-depth on-site inspections, and direct dialogue with employees and management. Our auditors evaluate working conditions such as wages, health and safety, rest breaks, facilities, and working hours, alongside environmental practices within the production process.
