Has it been more than two years since you completed your ‘GWO BST Working at Heights’ basic training course? If so, it’s time to refresh your knowledge. This refresher course will help you reacquaint yourself with the various fall protection equipment, personal protective equipment and vertical access systems. Safe rescue and evacuation procedures are also covered.
- Training: GWO BSTR Working at Heights
- Duration: 8 hours (1 day, including lunch)
- Number of participants: Maximum 6
- Target group: Individuals who work or intend to work in the (offshore) wind industry and wish to comply with the international GWO standard (Global Wind Organisation). The certification meets the requirements of the EWEA, the Dutch Health and Safety Catalogue for Wind Energy and the German BGI567, BGR198 and BGR199.

Programme
- Legislation and regulations regarding working safely at height in the offshore wind sector
- Awareness of fall hazards and the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Visual user inspection of various fall protection equipment
- Safe use of various PPE
- Safe use of various vertical systems
- Various practical exercises in rescue from height
- Evacuation from height using a centrifugal evacuation device
Exam
- Practical assessment by the trainer
- Includes a digital certificate (valid for 2 years)
