Imagine you're walking through your facility with an auditor who suddenly asks whether a specific two-leg chain sling complies with the applicable standards. Simply note the certificate number—for example, PK13—enter it into Certif, and the corresponding certificate appears instantly, complete with all the relevant inspection and certification information.
Of course, you can search using many other criteria as well, including product status, serial number, type number, description, and Working Load Limit (WLL).
It is even possible to assign a location and sub-location to each item of lifting equipment. Upon request, Mennens can configure this during the inspection. You can then search by location within your facility—for example, "Welding Area" or "B1"—to immediately display all lifting equipment located there.
Always Up to Date
Just as important is keeping your database accurate and up to date. Over time, equipment may be condemned or removed from service, making it unnecessary to keep it in your active records.
Within Certif, you can indicate that a product should be removed—for example, because it has been rejected. Don't worry if something is deleted by mistake: Mennens always keeps a secure backup of your data, allowing us to restore deleted records whenever necessary.

Mennens Certif also helps reduce paper consumption. Our inspectors update the inspection status directly on site or in our workshop, after which the results are immediately available in your personal Certif environment. This makes the process both efficient and sustainable.
