Stainless steel steelwire rope

With a stainless steel cable (or stainless steel cable) supplied by Mennens, you can avoid rusting.

When chromium (one of the metals that make up the steel) comes into contact with oxygen, an oxide skin is formed: an invisible layer that protects the underlying material from oxidation. Stainless steel cables are used for specific situations in industry, but they are especially well suited for architectural applications. Stainless steel cables are processed not only as tension cables (with various end connections) or in balustrades and railings, but also in stainless steel cable netting.

As with standard cables, stainless steel cables are available in different constructions and with different finishes. Standard stainless steel cables are available in grade AIS316 (EN 1.4401) which is more resistant to salt corrosion. All stainless steel cables are finished in our own workshops.
